Volunteer

This is an exciting opportunity to volunteer with our National Photography Network! We’re looking for volunteers based in SA, NT, ACT, and Tasmania.

As a member of the Amnesty International Australia (AIA) National Photography Network, you’ll use your photography skills to help capture content at AIA activist or staff led events. You’ll work collaboratively with the National Photography Network Lead and activists and staff on the ground to capture high quality and professional content that proudly champions the work of our amazing activists and staff in fighting for human rights.

Opportunities in which we’d need your support in content gathering will be ad-hoc and dependent on what activists and staff in your region have planned, so this will be a low-commitment volunteer role in which we’ll be in touch at varied times of the year with content gathering opportunities, while also aiming to give you as much notice as possible.

This is an ideal volunteer role for someone who is either studying photography at a tertiary level or who has had some amateur / semi-professional / professional level photography experience and is looking to volunteer on an ad-hoc basis to help meaningfully capture and communicate the important work that we do in fighting for human rights.
