Lead the charge in delivering Amnesty International Australia’s digital fundraising efforts! You’ll lead a high-performing team, using creativity and data to drive revenue, deepen engagement, grow our movement and amplify our human rights impact.
This role leads the strategy and execution of digital fundraising campaigns, supporter journeys, and brand content, connecting new and existing audiences to our movement. You’ll collaborate across teams, with external partners, and champion your team to deliver high performing digital channels that drive revenue, donor and supporter growth, engagement and brand.

The salary for this position is $132,404 per annum (pro rata for part time) + super + optional not-for-profit salary packaging.

Job Description
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Lead the development and implementation of AIA’s digital fundraising, marketing and digital channel strategies, in line with the relevant strategies, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders develop and deliver AIA’s brand strategy across all channels.
Use behavioural insights, segmentation and testing to optimise supporter journeys and improve retention across channels.
Lead integration between communications, campaigns, and fundraising to ensure consistent messaging and experience across the supporter lifecycle.
Management of the Digital Fundraising Team, including oversight of team and staff work plans, budgets, projects and timelines and performance KPIs.
Effectively deliver digital omnichannel communications and journeys that grow and retain audiences
Maintain a data-driven communication and engagement implementation and content plan, informed by a robust test and learn program
Develop and maintain effective partnerships with external agencies to drive performance and strong ROI
Oversight across all digital channels to enhance platform performance, engagement and action rates. Close collaboration with Strategic Communications Manager on organic social media.
Ensure respectful and culturally-competent inclusion and amplification of voices and stories of rights holders and those with lived experience, ensuring content and communications across all channels advance AIA’s anti-racism, participation, and diversity, inclusion and wellbeing strategies
Protect and strengthen AI’s brand and reputation through all digital communications materials and assets, in conjunction with other externally-facing teams and leaders
Work closely with the Data and Technology Manager to plan and implement a fit-for-purpose and robust marcomms tech stack
Desired Skills and Experience
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
At least 7 years of experience in a communications, marketing or fundraising position, with extensive digital experience
Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing audience and engagement journeys
High level team management experience, including recruitment, performance management and workflow management and prioritisation
Extensive experience and strong strategic and technical skills in digital communications, including development and implementation of strategy and digital transformation projects
Experience delivering digital strategies for fundraising/income generation, with robust knowledge of lead generation and regular giving an advantage
Demonstrable understanding of contemporary digital engagement strategies across multiple channels and platforms
Experience and understanding of human rights and social justice campaigns or movements, with competence and sensitivity for working with lived experience and rights holder communities
