As a people powered movement; activists, Action Groups and Networks across the country are active in their communities hosting events and campaign actions to challenge injustices and defend human rights.

As the Activism Administration Volunteer, you will support their ongoing activism by assisting with data entry of offline petitions, sending out event materials, and ad-hoc administration duties. 

We are flexible and negotiable with the hours required, however, we are looking for someone to dedicate a minimum of 3 hours per fortnight, during business hours with a minimum commitment of 6 months. 

Job Description

Some of your main responsibilities will include

  • Supporting with assembling and mailing out of activist materials for events 
  • Data entry of offline petition signatures and other campaign actions 
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties as required

Desired Skills and Experience

We’re looking for a dedicated volunteer with an

  • Interest in activism and supporting activist run events and activities 
  • Ability to ensure data integrity through attention to detail and quality data entry 
  • And is passionate about human rights, social justice issues and progressing Amnesty International’s vision & presence in Australia
